Relex SMILE® Pro is the fastest, most technologically advanced and precise laser eye surgery in the world. This one-step procedure differs from previous generations of laser eye surgery because it uses a keyhole technique, providing a minimally invasive treatment option to correct myopia and astigmatism. The procedure involves a computer-guided, highly focused laser light to create a lens (a precise lens-shaped disk within the cornea), which is then removed through a tiny keyhole incision. This one-step process is very quick and the laser component is ready in just 25 seconds! The technology has also been developed to ensure that it is an extremely comfortable procedure with a quick recovery. Most of our Relex SMILE® Pro patients will feel great and be back to work the next day.

  • Young patients under the age of 18 are usually not treated at all because they are still growing and the eye is therefore still subject to growth changes
